Actually, she may well have a name (and Betsy sounds good to me) as Mill Farm is a visiter centre where you can get up close and personal (but not too personal!) with most of the animals. I think kids like going best in the spring when all the newborn critters arrive.
The bees here are no where near that yellow. They're more like a ivory/pale yellow.
It wasn't until I started taking pics of them that I noticed the different kinds of bees we have have in these parts. Do you get the kind with orange butts perchance?
I doubt there's anything would deter these guys!
They certainly keep me entertained as do the flock of up too fourteen greenfinches that arrive around 6.30 in the morning to fight over the feeders!
Yup, a blackheaded gull. They're quite small compared to the herring gulls.
